The Central Superior Services or CSS exam 2017 was conducted in February 2017. The schedule, syllabus and other details regarding CSS exams is available from October 2017. CSS exams will be conducted in 21 various cities of Pakistan. These cities include Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Abbottabad, Karachi, Larkana, Islamabad, Lahore, Quetta, Muzaffarabad, Okara, Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan, Gujranwala, Gilgit, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Sukkur, Sargodha, Faisalabad and Hyderabad.

After this CSS exam 2017 is finished, the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) will announce the final result of the exams. The Result is, given out in the month of July or August and hence for this year 2017 too, the CSS result 2017 will also announced by the FPSC in July or August.

The Federal Public Service Commission or FPSC, Pakistan Government conduct the Central Superior Services or CSS Examination for the selection of candidates for services under FPSC. The written examination is of 1200 marks. Candidate has to take all the compulsory subjects (papers) which are of total 600 marks as well as select optional subjects carrying a total of 600 marks.

The interested candidates have to clear or pass all the parts of CSS Exam for appointment against a post. The parts of the CSS exam are:

  • Medical Test
  • Psychological Test
  • Viva Voce

FPSC CSS Result 2017





Each paper is of 3 hours. The question paper consists of both subjective questions as well as some MCQs. If a candidate wants to qualify through the written test he will have to obtain at least 40% in each of the compulsory subject and 33% in each optional subject he chooses. Heb will have to score 50% in aggregate. Both male and female candidates are given equal opportunities in this exam.
